I ran across information about this wind turbine while reading about a tiny house on the California coast that uses an AIR Breeze marine for 100% of it’s power. Below is a video of an Air X wind turbine which is more powerful than the AIR Breeze. Either of these seem to be great options for an alternative energy off-the-grid electric power system.

Here’s a great example of how rain water run-off can be captured and stored in a water tank for later use. This was filmed at The Field Lab by John Wells a man living simply in a tiny house somewhere in the remote desert of southwest Texas.

John Wells lives in a remote part or southwest Texas in an off-the-grid tiny house. It’s solar powered and cooled by a low-voltage swamp cooler.
