Here’s a great example of how rain water run-off can be captured and stored in a water tank for later use. This was filmed at The Field Lab by John Wells a man living simply in a tiny house somewhere in the remote desert of southwest Texas.

John Wells lives in a remote part or southwest Texas in an off-the-grid tiny house. It’s solar powered and cooled by a low-voltage swamp cooler. John is experimenting with sustainable technologies and developing low-cost ways of living in balance with the land. To see his place visit The Field Lab. This poem sums up his story.
